Biography

Michael Saint John has performed in thousands of musical situations ranging from jazz duos to coliseum rock concerts. Drumming since birth, MJ received his first drum set at age one and began playing along with Little Richard, Elvis, and Kiss records. Completely self taught, he started his professional career at fourteen, gigging in R&B, blues, rock, Top 40, country, reggae, show-tune, jazz, Latin, and electronica bands.

Today Michael Saint John is one of the most showcased and hardest working musicians on the west coast of the United States. Averaging over 260 concerts and 50 different bands each year, MJ tours extensively throughout North America, Hawaiian Islands and Asia.

In his spare time, MJ enjoys playing music, riding his Harley Davidson throughout the country, climbing coconut trees, swimming with dolphins, and Goddess worship. Other interests include environmental activism, vegan cuisine, holistic health, world travel and dancing till dawn!
